JOHNSTON -- Albert F. “Bud” Wiuff, 91, formerly of Harlan, died Friday, Sept. 11 at MercyOne Johnston Hospice Care in Johnston.    Services will be held Friday, Sept. 18 at 3 p.m. at Ankeny Evangelical Free Church with a gathering in the outdoor courtyard following the service and a private graveside service Saturday, Sept.

    ATLANTIC -- Diann Lynn Taylor, 69, Atlantic, died Sunday, Sept. 6 at Atlantic Specialty Care.    Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 at United Church of Christ in Atlantic with burial in the St. Boniface Cemetery in Westphalia at a later date.    Arrangements are provided by Hockenberry Family Care in Atlantic.

    WASHINGTON -- Ronald Raymond Davis, 85, Washington, formerly of Harlan, died Monday, Sept. 7 at the Halcyon House in Washington.    Celebration of life services and interment will be held at a later date.  A memorial has been established for the Harlan Community School District Helping Hands Fund.    Davis was a former HCSD board member.    Davis is survived by his wife, Lila June Davis, of Washington; son Craig A.

    ATLANTIC -- Elvilda O’Neill, 88, Avoca, died September 2 at Heritage House.    Services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 8 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Avoca with burial in the Graceland Cemetery at Avoca.  Family will greet friends Tuesday from 9-11 a.m.

    OMAHA, NE -- James Myron Rosman, 77, Omaha, NE, died August 31 in his home.    Services will be held Saturday, Sept. 5 at 10 a.m. at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Omaha with private inurnment later at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Cemetery.  Visitation is Friday, Sept. 4 beginning at 5 p.m. with a wake service at 7 p.m.

    HARLAN -- Bernard Stein, 76, Harlan, died August 28 at his home.    Services are pending at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan for a later date.    Stein is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Stein, of Harlan; sons Michael R. (Joan) Stein of Prairie City and Bradley D.

    HARLAN -- Joyce Graeve, 88, Harlan, died August 24 at Bergan Mercy Medical Center.    A private family Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, Aug. 29 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Harlan with burial in the St.

    AVOCA -- AJ “Big Country” Sieh, Jr., 20, Avoca, died August 13.    A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 22 at 1 p.m. at the AHSTW Football Field in Avoca with burial in the Graceland Cemetery in Avoca at a later date.  Family will greet friends from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

    HARLAN -- Robert Leon Lindsay, 75, Harlan, died July 20, 2020.    A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 22 at 10 a.m.

    MANILLA -- Ellsworth Harper Shannon, 102, Manilla, died August 17 at the Manilla Manor.    Services will be held Friday, Aug. 21 at 11 a.m. at United Methodist Church in Kirkman with burial in the Oak Hill Cemetery at Irwin.  Visitation was Thursday, Aug. 20 from 5-8 p.m.

Peter and Paul Cemetery in Defiance.  Visitation is Thursday from 9-11 a.m.
