    HARLAN -- Rickey Martin, 64, Harlan, died Tuesday, July 14 at Myrtue Medical Center in Harlan.  No services are planned at this time.

    WOODBINE -- Joyce Christensen, 90, formerly of Harlan, died Tuesday, July 14 at Rose Vista Home in Woodbine.    Services will be held at a later date.    She is survived by her children Kevin (Sue) Christensen of Omaha, NE, Tim (Joan) Christensen of Bennington, NE and Deb Larsen of Harlan.
 

    EARLING -- Richard Mathias Wilwerding, 77, Earling, died July 9 at his home.    Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 18 at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Earling.    Wilwerding is survived by brothers Jerry Wilwerding and Eugene (Janice) Wilwerding, both of Harlan; sister Jackie Wilwerding of Earling; many nieces and nephews.    Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan is in charge of arrangements.
 

    SHELBY -- Steven J. Bladt, 70, Shelby, died July 14 at Myrtue Medical Center in Harlan.    Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 22 at 2 p.m. at the Shelby Cemetery in Shelby.  Family will greet friends Tuesday, July 21 from 4-7 p.m.

    ELK HORN -- Clarice Andersen, 89, Elk Horn, died July 12 at the Salem Lutheran Home.    Private family graveside services will be held Tuesday, July 14 at the Harlan Cemetery in Harlan.    Andersen is survived by daughter Marsha (Kent) Larson of Las Vegas, NV; son Richard (Laura) Andersen of Jackson, WI; sister Linda Buehlmann of Austin, TX; sister-in-law Nancy Axland of Rio Verde, AZ; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one step-

    PORTSMOUTH -- James Darrell Crawford, 72, Portsmouth, died July 3 at the Veterans Medical Center.    Services will be held Saturday, July 25 at 1 p.m. at St. Mary Our Lady of Fatima Church in Portsmouth with burial in the St. Mary’s Cemetery at Portsmouth.  Visitation/Reception will be held that Saturday from 2-4 p.m. at the St.

    HARLAN -- Shirley Guyett, 94, Harlan, died July 6 at her home.    Graveside services will be held Friday, July 17 at 10:30 a.m. at the Harlan Cemetery.    Guyett is survived by sons Bruce (Collie Carroll) Guyett of Harlan and Tim Guyett of Pasco, WA.    Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan is in charge of arrangements.
 

    AVOCA -- Marie Greiner, 93, Avoca, died June 30 at Avoca Specialty Care.    Services are pending at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan.    Greiner is survived by son Kenneth Greiner of Harlan; daughters Beccy Kramer of Colome, SD, Mary (Phil) Schneider of Lenexa, KS and Jennifer Ashe of Overland Park, KS; and six grandchildren.
 

    ATLANTIC -- Hazel Christine Miller, 92, Atlantic, died July 7 at Heritage House in Atlantic.    Services will be held Saturday, July 11 at 1 p.m. at Hockenberry Family Care in Atlantic with private burial in the Hancock Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

    MANILLA -- Francis Nicholas Kenkel, 99, Manilla, formerly of Defiance, died July 7 at Manilla Manor.    Services will be held Friday, July 10 at 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Defiance.  Public visitation was held Thursday, July 9 from 5-8 p.m.

    PORTSMOUTH -- James D. Crawford, 72, Portsmouth, died Friday, July 3 at the VA Hospital in Omaha, NE.    Services are pending at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan.

    HARLAN -- Graveside memorial services for Bonnie Petersen will be Friday, July 10.    Petersen, 95, died November 25, 2019.    Visitation will be at Grace Baptist Church, Harlan, from 6:30-7:30 p.m., with the graveside memorial service to follow at 8 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery, Kirkman.    All friends are welcome to join the family in a celebration of Petersen’s life.
