    AVOCA -- Carol A. Pattee, 81, Avoca, died April 19 at University of Nebraska Medical Center.    Private family services were held at 2 p.m.

    AVOCA -- Charlie LeRoy Allen, 85, Avoca, died April 20 at his home.    A private family funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 24 at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca with burial in the Graceland Cemetery at Avoca.  Public visitation was held Thursday, April 23 from 1-6 p.m.

    MENIFEE, CA -- Roger Elmer Schechinger, 55, Menifee, CA, died February 26 at Loma Linda University Hospital in Murrieta, CA.    He was a former Westphalia resident and graduate of Harlan Community Schools.    A full Marine funeral service was held March 17 at the Riverside National Military Cemetery in Riverside, CA.  Local services are pending in Westphalia due to COVID-19 virus.  Information will be forthcoming.    Schechinger is survive
