    HARLAN -- Lee Anne Hannah Davis, 85, Harlan, died Tuesday, Dec. 29 at Elm Crest Retirement Community in Harlan.    A graveside service will be held Wednesday, Jan. 6 at 1 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Council Bluffs.    Davis is survived by son David Davis of Harlan.    Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan is in charge of arrangements.
 

    WALNUT -- Louie M. Troll, 90, Walnut, died Thursday, Dec. 31 in Atlantic.    Services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 5 at 10:30 a.m.

    TUCSON, AZ - Yvonne “Vonnie” Burchett, 95, Tucson, AZ,  formerly of Harlan,  died Dec 19, 2020 at home with her family.      Arrangements are in the planning stage for a visitation and Mass of Christian burial in Harlan later this spring.

    WALNUT -- Milton Earl Mueller, 90, Walnut, died Thursday, Dec. 24 in Council Bluffs.    A graveside service with military honors will be held Saturday, Jan. 2 at 11 a.m.

    BELLEVUE, NE -- Lawrence Blum, 86, Bellevue, NE, formerly of Defiance, died December 29 in Bellevue.    Blum is survived by his wife Janis Blum; sons Larry, and Terry (Kelly) Blum; daughters Sandy Blum, Pat Hopkins, Jane (Bob) Supenski, Judy and Angela Blum, Barb and (Keith) Smithson; and many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.    Service will be held at a future date.    Good Shepherd Funeral Home in Omaha, NE is in charge of arrangements

    MANILLA -- Gerald H. Bruck, 95, Manilla, died December 24 at the Manilla Manor.    Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, Dec. 28 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Earling with burial in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Earling.    Bruck is survived by sons Jody Bruck of Avoca, Jerry (Aline) Bruck Jr.

    PERSIA -- Donna M. Leonard, 89, Persia, died December 24 at her home.    Services were held Monday, Dec. 28 at 2 p.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan with burial in the Valley View Cemetery in Persia.  Visitation was Monday from 1-2 p.m.

    HARLAN -- Joe C. Pennington, 70, Harlan, died December 23 at Bergan Mercy Hospital.    A memorial service was held Monday, Dec. 28 at 1 p.m.

    HARLAN -- Paul “Tootles” Leinen, 94, of Harlan, formerly of Portsmouth, died on Friday, Dec. 25, at Myrtue Medical Center in Harlan.      Visitation Services will be Wednesday, Jan. 6, from 3-7 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Portsmouth, Iowa.  Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, Jan. 7 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Portsmouth with interment at St.

    SHELBY -- Andrew “Andy” Jacob Redbinbaugh, 26, Shelby, died December 20 at the 23 mile marker, I-80 westbound.    Family will greet friends Sunday, Dec. 27 from 1-4 p.m.

    MANNING -- Max Sanford, 15, Manning, died Friday, Dec. 18 at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines following a vehicle accident the previous evening.    Services were held Wednesday, Dec. 23 at 10:30 a.m.

    EARLING -- Jeannine R. (McLean) Wingert, 73, born in Gretna, NE and formerly of Earling, died Thursday, Dec.

    AVOCA -- Jerry Christensen, 79, Avoca, died December 16 at Myrtue Medical Center in Harlan.    Private family services were held Monday, Dec. 21 at 1 p.m.
