    AUSTIN, TX -- Word has been received of the death of Grant Samuel Wishard, 23, Austin, TX, who died unexpectedly at his home on November 12.    Memorial services were held on November 22.    Survivors include his parents Tammy and Kevin Wishard of Austin; sisters Lauren (Chris) and Jaclyn; grandparents Bill and Helen Wishard of North Richland Hills, TX and Donald and Marilyn Dahlof of Kirkman; birthmother Erin Ronlof May; uncle Todd Dahlof

    INDIANAPOLIS, IN -- Thomas William Troll, 65, Indianapolis, IN died November 19.    There will be no services, but a memorial celebration will be held on Saturday, Dec. 3 from 2-4 p.m.

    SHELBY -- Doris Marie Ploen, 89, Shelby, died November 26 at Methodist Hospital.    Services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 30 at 10:30 a.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca with burial in the Minden Cemetery at Minden.  Visitation will be Tuesday, Nov. 29 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

(Andersen) Custer, 71, Council Bluffs, died November 21.    Services will be Saturday, Nov. 26 at 10 a.m. at Cutler-O’Neill Funeral Home in Council Bluffs, luncheon to follow at the funeral home, and then interment at 1:30 p.m. at the Harlan Cemetery.  Refreshments will follow at the Peace Lutheran Church in Harlan. Briggs, 60, Shelby, formerly of Council Bluffs, died Sunday, Nov. 20 at Elm Crest Retirement Center in Harlan.    Services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 11 a.m. at Cutler-O’Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home with cremation to follow service.  There will be no burial.  Visitation with family was Monday, Nov. 21 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

    EARLING -- Linus Peter Koch, 88, Earling, formerly of Panama, died November 20 at Myrtue Medical Center in Harlan.    Services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church in Panama with burial in the St. Mary’s Cemetery at Panama.  A rosary will be held Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. at St. Mary’s Parish Center.  Visitation is Tuesday from 5-9 p.m. with family greeting friends from 6-8 p.m.

    EARLING -- Richard R. “Dick” Mattox, 77, Earling, formerly of Shelby, died Monday, Nov. 14 in Harlan.    Services will be held Friday, Nov. 18 at 10:30 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Shelby with burial in the Shelby Cemetery.  Friends were asked to call Thursday, Nov. 17 from 2-9 p.m. with family greeting friends from 5-8 p.m.

    FT. COLLINS, CO -- Joshua Carl Lawson, 36, of Bellevue, NE and Ft. Collins, CO, formerly of Earling, died November 14.    Services will be held Saturday, Nov. 19 at 11 a.m.
