Elsie Arlene Petersen Henderson Myers

Elsie Arlene Petersen Henderson Myers was born on March 2, 1925, on a farm southeast of Irwin, Iowa and went to be with the Lord on May 12, 2023, in Las Cruces, New Mexico.   Her mother passed away when Elsie was six days old, at which time she went to make her home with her uncle and aunt, Lars and Marie Hodne.  She was baptized and confirmed in St.

Neil Urban Huebert

Neil Urban Huebert, the youngest son of Henry Jr. and Gertrude (Leinen) Huebert. He was born on December 13, 1944. He attended St. Mary’s Grade and High School, graduating with the class of 1963.Neil helped farm with his father and also helped his father and uncle on fencing jobs. In 1963, Neil joined his oldest brother Gerald in the roofing business, known as Huebert Brothers.

Marcia Burger, 92, passed away on May 10 in Cassville, Missouri.  She was born on August 23, 1930 in Harlan, Iowa to Reno and Rubie Stofferson.  She graduated from Harlan High School in 1949 and later married Dale Findlay. They had four sons, Bill, Mark, Cole and David.   In 1975, she married Darrell Burger.

  Joseph “Joe” Leo Kohles was born to Delbert and Celestine “Sally” (Arkfeld) Kohles on January 14, 1952 in Harlan, Iowa. He attended St. Mary’s Catholic School in Panama, Iowa until the age of 12 when he moved with his parents and four youngest siblings to San Bruno, CA.In California, he stayed busy with baseball and his paper route.

Jack Lee McCool, the son of Larry Steven and Juanita Jane (Theulen) McCool, was born on December 3, 1952, in Harlan, Iowa. He attended school in Tennant, Iowa, through the third grade. When the Tennant school consolidated with the Shelby, Iowa, school, becoming Shelby-Tennant Community School, Jack continued his education in Shelby; he graduated with the Class of 1971.After graduation, Jack entered the United States Army.

Although he wasn’t thrilled about it, he decided to let her stay.The family lived in Jacksonville, Iowa, and Randy attended Harlan High School, and graduated in 1967. He did a tour of duty in Viet Nam from 1969-1970. (which he called the worst Senior Field Trip ever).
