Vikings have final meet of season

The AHSTW Vikings had five runners performing at the cross country state qualifying meet Thursday, but unfortunately nobody qualified as a team or as an individual. The team finished fourth overall with 105 points, finishing 69 points behind the winner, Treynor with 36 points.

Cyclones punch ticket to postseason with home win

With a combination of stellar defense and timely plays, the HCHS Cyclones football team took care of business in Friday's regular season finale at home against the Knoxville Panthers winning 42-7 stamping their ticket to the postseason.
"We knew we had to bounce back and now we really proved a statement," said Senior Cyclone Jozef Reisz. "We've just got to keep going, keep moving forward."

Spartans & Wolves perform at ACGC for SQM

The Exira-EHK Spartans and IKM-Manning Wolves competed at ACGC High School for the 1A cross country state qualifying meet, but nobody qualified as a team or individual. Raegan Garrison on the girls side was the fastest runner finishing 11th overall with a time of 21:29.50, and Camden Morris was the fastest boy with 19:05.10 coming in 16th overall.

Spartans go the distance with Knights

After dropping the first two sets in the Class 1A Region 8 Quarterfinal game against the Fremont-Mills Knights with scores of 25-16 and 25-11, the Exira-EHK Spartans volleyball team bounced back, winning sets three and four 25-21 and 25-21, then dropped set five 15-9 ending their season.
