PANAMA -- Janice Marie Hoffmann, 67, Panama, died August 6 at Methodist Hospital.    Services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 9 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church in Panama with burial in the St. Mary’s Cemetery at Panama.  A rosary will be held Tuesday, Aug. 8 at 7 p.m. at St. Mary’s Parish Center in Panama.  Visitation is Tuesday from 5-8 p.m.

    HARLAN -- Anna Mae Hansen-Kramer, 86, Harlan, died August 1 at Elm Crest Assisted Living.    Services will be held Friday, Aug. 4 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Harlan with burial in the Harlan Cemetery.  A rosary was held Thursday, Aug. 3 at 7 p.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan.  Visitation was Thursday from 5-8 p.m.

    HARLAN - Alan R. Christensen, 70, died Thurs., July 27 at Bergan Mercy Hospital, Omaha.        No visitation or services are planned. He was survived by his sister Karen Winey.    Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home, Council Bluffs, was in charge of arrangements.

    HARLAN - Longtime Harlan elementary teacher Mary L. Jensen died Friday, July 28 at Myrtue Medical Center.    Services were Monday morning, July 31 at St.

    AUDUBON -- Wilma M. Sorensen, 82, Audubon, formerly of Harlan, died Tuesday, April 4 in Audubon.    Services will be held Saturday, July 29 at 1 p.m.

    EARLING -- Irene Tremel, 86, Earling, died July 13 at Myrtue Medical Center in Harlan.    Services will be held Tuesday, July 18 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Earling with burial in the St. Joseph’s Cemetery at Earling.  A rosary was held Monday, July 17 from 7-7:30 p.m. at the church.  Visitation was Monday from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and again from 4:30-7 p.m.

    HARLAN -- Shirley C. Wilson, 88, Harlan, died Friday, July 14 in Harlan.    No visitation or services are planned.    Wilson is survived by son Jody Wilson of Harlan; grandsons Josey Wilson and Daniel Wilson; other relatives and friends.    Burmeister-Johannsen Funeral Home in Harlan is in charge of arrangements.
