Harlan - Tony Joseph Kloewer was born to Norbert and Patricia (Cunningham) Kloewer on April 26, 1964 in Harlan, Iowa. He was raised on the family farm near Westphalia, Iowa, where he developed a strong work ethic and deep family values. Tony was baptized and confirmed at St. Boniface Catholic Church, where he also began his education at St. Boniface Catholic School.

Blair - Melinda Lee Sheets was born on December 7, 1960, in Blair, Nebraska, to Neil and Edie (Jensen) Rosenbaum. She was baptized and confirmed at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard, Nebraska.

Mass will immediately follow at 11am.Mary Elizabeth (Schaben) Muell, 92, of Missouri Valley, IA, passed away on March 28, 2025. Mary was born on September 4, 1932, to Clarence (Bud) and Catherine (Block) Schaben. She was the eldest of 8 children. She grew up on the family farm west of Defiance, IA.

Harlan - Erik Paul Rasmussen was born on November 20, 1964, at the hospital in Harlan, Iowa to Franklin “Fraz” and Doris Rasmussen.He lived in Council Bluffs with his friends, where he enjoyed outings, shopping trips, and simply spending time together.

Wichita - Julia Lou Sheck, 84, of Wichita, KS, went to meet Jesus on Sunday, March 23, 2025, surrounded by her family.A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Riverwalk Church of Christ in Wichita. Memorial contributions may be made to Riverwalk Church of Christ.

Earling - Madonna Kramer was born on June 20, 1929 in Earling Iowa to Anton and Johanna (Zimmerman) Koesters. She was a lifelong member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Earling where she was baptized, confirmed and attended school.On March 30, 1948 Madonna was united in marriage to Alfons (Mike) Kramer at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

Harlan - Tammy Kristine Kaltved, 52, died on Monday, March 17, 2025, at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska after a courageous five-year battle with cancer. She was born on October 31, 1972, in Missouri Valley, Iowa to David and Kristine (Hatterman) Tremel. She grew up in Woodbine, Iowa, graduating in 1991. Tammy went on to further her education at Dana College, in Blair, Nebraska where she earned her bachelor’s degree in social work.

Harlan - Thomas Lee Feser was born to Jack and Betty (Schneider) Feser on August 8, 1959 in Harlan, Iowa. He attended grade school at St. Peter’s Catholic School in Defiance and went on to graduate from Harlan Community High School with the class of 1978.After high school, Tom worked at Farmland in Denison. He was hospitalized at the age of 21 due to a motorcycle accident. During recovery, he moved home with his mom.

Denison - Elsie Joyce Sievert was born March 19, 1934, in Denison, Iowa to Nora Wardell Sievert and George Sievert.  Elsie attended and graduated from Denison High School in 1952.  Following graduation, Elsie moved to Omaha, NE and worked as a secretary.Elsie married Charles Raymond Book in 1953 and resided in Harlan, Iowa.  Two children were born to this union, Charles Russell and Michelle Lynn.

Mobile, AL - Mrs. Judy Ann Barker, age 82 resident of Mobile, Alabama was welcomed into her heavenly home by her beloved parents Wilfred and Martha Svatora Spencer on Friday, March 14, 2025.Judy is survived by her loving husband of 60 years Jerry M.

Harlan - David Robert Plagmann, son of Dale and Trudy (Stewart) Plagmann, was born on February 1, 1989, in Harlan, Iowa. He attended Westridge Elementary and graduated from Harlan Community High School with the Class of 2007. He briefly attended Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs before returning to Harlan to help on the family farm.David had a natural talent for fixing anything.

Kansas City - Sharon “Shari” Lynn Fleshman was born to David Shaw and Sharon Shepard on July 18, 1961 in Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from Oak Park High School in Kansas City and attended college at the University of Missouri, Kansas City. While in college, she received her Bachelor of Liberal Arts and her Masters in Health Care Administrations.Shari found the love of her life when she met James Fleshman.

Council Bluffs - Alexis Nichole Collins was born on January 13, 1994, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Jacob Collins and Lynnette Hunt. She was raised in Elk Horn, Iowa where she attended school and later graduated in 2012. From a young age, Alexis was full of life and energy. She was outgoing, adventurous, and had a contagious spirit that drew people to her.

Omaha - Marlin Leslie Petersen was born on April 18, 1957, the son of Melvin L. and Evelyn M. (Michaelsen) Petersen at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. He was raised on the farm near Redline. He attended Irwin Kirkman Community Schools and graduated with the class of 1975. Marlin was a lifelong member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church near Jacksonville.From a young age, Marlin had lambs and calves on the family farm.

Atlantic - Jane Ellen Doonan, born April 24th, 1946, to parents Gaylord L. and Loretta J. (Abel) Doonan in Atlantic, Iowa. She passed away peacefully at Cass Health on March 8th, 2025, surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and family. Jane graduated from Harlan Community High School. The day after graduation, she took a train to Washington D.C. to work for the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI).
