Vikings take fifth at WIC Duals

 TREYNOR -- The AHSTW wrestling team placed fifth out of nine schools at the Western Iowa Conference Dual Tournament held Friday-Saturday, December 18-19, at Treynor. Logan-Magnolia won the WIC championship with an 8-0 record, followed by Missouri Valley (7-1), Riverside (6-2), Underwood (5-3), AHSTW (4-4), Treynor (3-5), Tri-Center (2-6), Audubon (1-7) and Griswold (0-8).
 The Vikings’ dual wins came against Tri-Center (70-12), Griswold (69-6), Treynor (57-21) and Audubon (56-15). They were defeated by Missouri Valley (40-35), Logan-Magnolia (43-27), Riverside (43-30) and Underwood (43-30).
