Titans complete sweep of HCHS

 COUNCIL BLUFFS -- Lewis Central senior Caleb Shudak picked up his second win of the year over Harlan Community Tuesday night as the Titans beat the Cyclones 5-2 to sweep the season series.
 Shudak (4-1) pitched hitless ball through four innings and took a shutout into the sixth before HCHS was able to plate a pair of runs. The 3rd-ranked (3-A) Cyclones got the tying run to the plate in the seventh but were unable to score.
 With the victory, LC took a commanding three-game lead over HCHS in the Hawkeye Ten standings, improving to 11-0 in conference play and 15-4 overall. The Cyclones are now 11-3 in league play.
