Spartans defeat Rockets in four

 ELK HORN (Sept. 21) -- The Exira-Elk Horn-Kimballton volleyball team finished with a decisive win in set four to beat Ar-We-Va 25-13, 20-25, 25-20, 25-14 in Rolling Valley Conference action Tuesday night. The Spartans improved to 4-8 overall and 1-1 in the RVC. Ar-We-Va dropped to 2-11 and 2-3, respectively.
 Exira-EHK also competed in the ACGC Tournament at Guthrie Center on Saturday, Sept. 18. The Spartans finished 2-2, winning 2-1 decisions vs. Audubon and Perry and losing 0-2 against both Glidden-Ralston and Nodaway Valley.
