Spartan girls roll to 14-1

ELK HORN (Jan. 24) -- The Exira-Elk Horn-Kimballton girls won their 14th straight game and improved to 14-1 overall Friday night with a 68-23 home win over Woodbine. The Spartans entered Monday’s game at Boyer Valley with a first-place mark of 11-0 in the Rolling Valley Conference.
Macy Emgarten led E-EHK with five three-pointers and 21 points against the Tigers while Ellie Schultes also hit double figures with 13 points. The Spartans built a 35-14 halftime lead and never looked back.
Alexa Steinkuehler paced Woodbine with 15 points.
