Quinn Grubbs named to All-Tournament Team

 DES MOINES (March 6) -- Exira-Elk Horn-Kimballton sophomore Quinn Grubbs was one of six players named to the Class 1A All-Tournament Team following the championship game of the 2021 Girls State Basketball Tournament Saturday night at Wells Fargo Arena.
 In two state tourney games last week, Grubbs totaled 33 points, five rebounds, two assists and three steals. She led the Spartans to a 60-55 first round win over MMCRU, scoring a game-high 25 points while making 2-of-3 three-pointers and 5-of-7 free throws.
 The Class 1A All-Tournament Team also included Macy Sievers (captain) and Bailey Sievers from state champion Newell-Fonda, Audi Crooks and Molly Joyce from runner-up Bishop Garrigan and Elise Boulton of Montezuma.
