Powers leads Cyclone girls to 2-1

 HARLAN -- Paige Powers shot a medalist round of 46 and Amber Gross was runner-up medalist with a 52 on Tuesday, leading the Harlan Community girls golf team to a dual victory over Glenwood at the Harlan Golf and Country Club.
 Ideal weather conditions and soft greens helped HCHS cut 56 strokes off their season-opening team score April 7 on the same course. Maggie Langenfeld carded a 53 and Kristen Ferry added a 57 as the Cyclones finished with a 208 and improved their dual record to 2-1.
 Glenwood was unable to post a team score after one of their four golfers withdrew early in the meet due to medical reasons.
