Pattee places sixth in Atlantic’s T of C event

 ATLANTIC -- Several golfers from regional courses competed in last weekend’s Championship Division of the 62nd annual Tournament of Champions, held Friday-Sunday, Aug. 7-9, at the Atlantic Golf and Country Club.
 The event was won by past champion Matt Weresh, who finished with a one-over-par score of 208 on 54 holes, holding off Atlantic’s Zach Christianson by two strokes.
 Danny Pattee, representing Avoca CountryView Golf and Clubhouse, placed sixth overall with a 216 (+9), shooting rounds of 73, 72 and 71. Jeff Bladt, club champion at Rosman Glendale Shelby County Golf Course, finished 35th with a three-day total of 258 (+51).
 Other scores of note included Jared Koch of Majestic Hills Golf Course (Denison) with a fourth-place 215 (+8) and Mike Bauer of Audubon Golf and Country Club with a 28th-place 240 (+33).
