Lady Vikes place in 10 events at Audubon Early Bird

 AUDUBON -- AHSTW placed in 10 events, led by a pair of second-place hurdles finishes from Jaycie Schueman, at Monday’s 12-team Audubon Wheeler Girls Early Bird track meet. Team standings were not kept for the meet, which was originally postponed March 31 due to cold and wet weather.
 Exira-Elk Horn-Kimballton was also scheduled to compete, but was one of four teams to opt out due to having a meet the following night.
 Individual standouts included Logan-Magnolia’s Kylan Straight and Underwood’s Madeline Stephens. Straight earned gold medals in the 100-meter dash, 100 hurdles and 400 hurdles, and also ran a leg of the winning shuttle hurdle relay. Stephens swept the 3,000 and the 1,500-meter runs.
