Juhl scores 31 as Cyclone boys handle Tigers

Strong third-quarter push helps HCHS improve conference record to 8-1

 RED OAK -- Ahead by just six points at halftime, the Harlan Community boys put together a 23-8 third-quarter run and continued to pull away in the fourth to post a 78-49 win at Red Oak Friday night.
 Senior Kyle Juhl led the 5th-ranked (3-A) Cyclones with 31 points, eight rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocked shots, shooting 13-of-19 from the field as HCHS improved to 8-1 in Hawkeye Ten Conference play (tied for first place) and 11-2 overall.
 Red Oak, led by Jesse Taylor’s four 3-pointers and 18 points, slipped to 1-4 in conference games and 5-9 overall.
