IKM-M girls top Wheelers

 MANNING (Jan. 27) -- The IKM-Manning girls put together a strong first half that carried them past Audubon, 60-42, in Western Iowa Conference action Monday. The Wolves broke a tie with the Wheelers for third place in the WIC standings, improving to 9-3 in league play (11-4 overall).
 IKM-M led 17-6 after one quarter and 37-21 at the half. Lexi Branning made 8-of-12 shots for the Wolves and led the team with a double-double, totaling 19 points and 10 rebounds.
 Alexa Ahrenholtz had a nice all-around game as well, finishing with 13 points, nine boards, six steals and five assists. Bianca Cadwell added nine points, followed by Bre Muhlbauer with seven, Emily Kerkhoff six and Nicole Hanson and Macie Doyel three apiece.
