HCHS wrestlers earn split vs. Rams, Falcons

Fast start not enough to take down state-ranked Glenwood squad

 HARLAN -- The Harlan Community wrestlers made some noise against Glenwood in Tuesday’s first double dual of the season, but ultimately fell 18 points short, 46-28, as part of a Hawkeye Ten split vs. the Rams and St. Albert.
 Glenwood, ranked sixth in Class 3-A by The Predicament, started the night with a 78-6 win over St. Albert, then overcame an early 28-0 deficit against the Cyclones by scoring the last 46 points. The Rams are now 5-0 overall and 2-0 in the Hawkeye Ten.
 HCHS topped the Falcons 60-16 for a 1-1 start in conference duals, scoring pins in 10 out of 12 contested match victories.
