HCHS cross country opener ppd. due to heat

 SHENANDOAH (Aug. 25) -- The Harlan Community cross country team’s first meet of the season was called off Tuesday when the Shenandoah Early Bird Invite was postponed due to high heat and humidity. The meet was rescheduled for Tuesday, September 1.
 HCHS will now open the season on Saturday morning at the Glenwood Invite at Glenwood Lake Park. The field will include the following schools: Tri-Center, East Mills, Council Bluffs Thomas Jefferson, Clarinda Academy, Council Bluffs Abraham Lincoln, Atlantic, Clarinda, Glenwood, Harlan Community, Lewis Central, Red Oak, Shenandoah and St. Albert.
