Flag football season draws nearly 100 kids

HARLAN -- A total of 98 area kids in grades 3-6 participated in Harlan Community’s 2016 Flag Football program. The season was held over five weeks this fall with games played each Sunday afternoon. The third and fourth grade division played at 1:00 p.m., followed by the fifth and sixth grade division at 3:00. There were six teams in each division.
 The following 27 Harlan Community High School football players helped coach the flag football teams: Drase Klindt, Patrick Fah, Hunter Frum, Jonathon Cheek, Jay Swanson, Caleb Brouse, Jake McLaughlin, Preston Mulligan, Derec Weyer, Wyatt Schaben, Jon Owens, Brett Sears, Caleb Rasmussen, Josh Cheek, Daniel Soll, Marshall Tucker, Aaron Johannsen, Jacob Wingert, Austin Smith, Grant Smith, Tyler Eaves, Travon Fleshman, Levi Culp, CJ Schechinger, Deren Schmitz, Dillon Sears and Jacob Hansen.
