Exira-EHK rallies for road win

 MONDAMIN -- Exira-Elk Horn-Kimballton recovered from an awful second quarter by finishing the game on an 11-1 run and winning at West Harrison, 48-39, in boys basketball action last Tuesday.
 The Spartans entered the holiday break with a 5-3 overall record and 5-2 Rolling Valley Conference mark. They will return to action Tuesday, January 5, for a home game vs. Adair-Casey.
 West Harrison, led by Ty Houston’s 21 points, dropped to 2-8 on the season. The Hawkeyes outscored the Spartans 19-3 in the second quarter to take a 25-20 halftime lead but were held to just 14 points the rest of the way.
