Cyclones prevail in overtime test at Blair, 63-57

BLAIR, NEB. -- Given a second chance in overtime, Caleb Rasmussen and the Harlan Community Cyclone basketball team responded.
Rasmussen, who missed two potential game-winning free throws with :01.7 left in regulation, scored the first points of O.T. on a drive to the hoop and the Cyclones led the rest of the way to outlast Blair, 63-57, on Tuesday night.
HCHS, now 2-0 overall, fell behind 17-8 after one quarter and trailed much of the game, then let a 52-47 lead slip away down the stretch in regulation. The Cyclones outscored the host Bears 10-4 in overtime.
