Cyclones 7th at Atlantic Invite
ATLANTIC -- Max Langenfeld’s sixth-place medalist round of 75 kept Harlan Community in the hunt, but the Cyclones ended up finishing in the middle of the team pack at Tuesday’s Atlantic Boys Invitational at Nishna Hills Golf Course.
Atlantic won the 13-team tourney with a score of 304 and Kuemper Catholic was second with a 309. The next five teams were tightly grouped: Glenwood placed third with a 315, followed by Shenandoah (316), Ballard (319), Clarinda (321) and seventh-place HCHS (323). Coach Chad Swanson felt that the Cyclones could have placed much higher without a few bad holes on the cards.
