Council Bluffs wins IWL Tourney

 PORTSMOUTH (July 26) -- The Council Bluffs Diablos hit six home runs and totaled 14 base hits here Sunday to beat Massena 11-4 in the championship game of the Iowa Western Baseball League Tournament.
 Alex Johnson hit three home runs and had six RBI, winning pitcher Devin Gardner hit two solo shots and Joey Pogge also homered for Council Bluffs, which is 0-7 in regular-season play. The Diablos defeated Walnut, top-seeded Persia and the Red Sox to win the tourney.
