Brouse, Meyers, Emgarten, Burmeister make IGCA All-District Softball teams
AREA -- Four local softball players have been recognized as 2021 All-District selections by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association.
Harlan Community senior Emily Brouse was named to the Class 4A West District team, AHSTW junior Ally Meyers made the Class 2A Southwest District team and two Exira-Elk Horn-Kimballton players - junior Macy Emgarten and sophomore Shay Burmeister - made the Class 1A Southwest District team. Each all-district squad consists of between 19 and 21 players.
Brouse, Meyers, Emgarten and Burmeister were also named to the IGCA’s 2021 All-State Softball teams. See the August 10 Harlan Tribune for more details.
