Verena Coenen, 90

    HARLAN -- Verena Ann Coenen, 90, Harlan, died October 22 at Elm Crest Retirement Community.
    Services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 25 at noon at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Harlan with burial in the Woodbine Cemetery at Woodbine.  Visitation was Monday, Oct. 24 from 5-8 p.m. at the church.  A wake service was held Monday at 7:30 p.m. at the church.
    Coenen is survived by her husband, Kenneth Coenen, of Harlan; daughter Linda (Tom) Boswell of Los Alamitos, CA; sons Robert (Teri) Coenen of Cozad, NE, Richard (Elaine) Coenen of Omaha, NE, and Randy (Teresa) Coenen of Woodbine; sister Alice (John) Stessman of Omaha; brother Ray (Mary) Wilwerding of Earling; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
    Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan is in charge of arrangements.
