Vera Schuning, 102

    AVOCA -- Vera Leona Schuning, 102, Avoca, died January 13 at Myrtue Medical Center in Harlan.
    Services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 17 at 10:30 a.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca with burial in the Graceland Cemetery.  Visitation is Tuesday, Jan. 16 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Schuning is survived by daughters Renee Sowers of Avoca and Rita (Bob) Koraleski of Papillion, NE; son Ronnie Schuning of Avoca; and grandson Drew Ayers of Omaha, NE.
