Susan Esser, 55

    PORTSMOUTH -- Susan Janette Esser, 55, died on January 9 at her home in Portsmouth.
    Susan is survived by her husband of 29 years, Dean Esser of Portsmouth; daughter, Josie and her husband Davis Jacobsen of Avoca, Iowa; sons, Garrett Esser and Justin Esser of Portsmouth; brother, Larry Frieze and his wife, Angela of Council Bluffs; sister, Nancy and her husband David Gau of Harlan, Iowa; and many other relatives and friends.
     A Celebration of Life was held on Friday, Jan. 14, at the Community of Christ in Woodbine.
     Fouts Funeral Home in Woodbine was in charge of arrangements.
