Richard Thomsen, 77

    COUNCIL BLUFFS -- Richard L. Thomsen, 77, Council Bluffs, formerly of Tennant, died Thursday, Dec. 10 in Council Bluffs.
    A prayer service was held Monday, Dec. 14 at 11 a.m. at Burmeister-Johannsen Funeral Home in Shelby.  Friends were asked to call Monday from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.  Burial of ashes will be at a later date in the Shelby Cemetery.
    Thomsen is survived by his wife, Lois Thomsen, of Council Bluffs; daughter Michelle (Kenneth) Wamke of Rowlett, TX; sisters Dorothy Sievers of Walnut and Audrey Sizelove of Cape Coral, FL; brother Kenneth (Marge) Thomsen of Tennant; grandchildren Bridgette Wamke of Grapevine, TX and Nickoles Wamke of Mesquite, TX; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
