Richard Mattox, 77

    EARLING -- Richard R. “Dick” Mattox, 77, Earling, formerly of Shelby, died Monday, Nov. 14 in Harlan.
    Services will be held Friday, Nov. 18 at 10:30 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Shelby with burial in the Shelby Cemetery.  Friends were asked to call Thursday, Nov. 17 from 2-9 p.m. with family greeting friends from 5-8 p.m. at Burmeister-Johannsen Funeral Home in Shelby.
    Mattox is survived by his wife, Carol Mattox, of Shelby; daughter Laura Tennigkeit of Underwood; son Michael (Shelly) Mattox of Brooklyn Park, MN; brother Marland Mattox of Omaha, NE; sister Marlene (Glen) Hipnar of Shelby; grandchildren Mason Tennigkeit, Austin Tennigkeit, Paige Tennigkeit, Kurt Mattox and Kaitlyn Mattox; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
