Norman Nelsen, 80

    AVOCA -- Norman D. Nelsen, 80, Avoca, formerly of Harlan, died Saturday, April 9 in Avoca.
    Services will be held Wednesday, April 13 at 11:30 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Harlan with burial in the Harlan Cemetery.  Friends may call Tuesday, April 13 from 3-8 p.m. with family greeting friends from 5-7 p.m. at the church.
    Nelsen is survived by his wife, Sandra Nelsen, of Harlan; son Mark Nelsen of Woodland Park, CO; daughters Joni (Clay) Dille of Woodland Park and Christina (Adam) Koch of Omaha, NE; brother Melvin Nelsen of Shelby; sister Darlene Arnold of Cridersville, OH; grandchildren Brandy Nelsen, Alyssa Koch and Joel Koch; other relatives and friends.
    Burmeister-Johannsen Funeral Home in Harlan is in charge of arrangements.
