Nancy Madsen, 58

    PERSIA -- Nancy Louise Madsen, 58, Persia, died September 7 in Harlan.
    Services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 12 at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Neola.  Family greeted friends Monday, Sept. 11 from 6-8 p.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca.
    Madsen is survived by her father, Bernard (Karen Borrink) Alfers of Council Blufs; daughter Pam (Chad Watson) Madsen of Council Bluffs; son Chris (Brenda Larimore) Madsen of Avoca; special fur baby Koda; brother Joe (April) Alfers of Kansas City, MO; sisters Jane (Don) Barnes of Shelby, Karen (Robert Conklin) Alfers of Omaha, NE, Mary Kay (Tony Scheffler) Waltz of Minden, Gina (Mike) Hackett of Winterset, and Debbie (Robert) Pogge of Minden; step-brother Dave Borrink of Sioux City; and nine grandchildren.
