Mila Rie Crees

Our sweet Mila Rie Crees was born on January 8th, 2023. She was a perfect 3lbs 5oz and 17 inches long.
She was born with a rare condition and because of this she had a challenging road ahead. She fought hard through many procedures and showed us her amazing strength and grace.
On January 10th she went peacefully to heaven in our arms. She is now our guardian angel and will be with us everyday.
Mila will be greeted in Heaven by her great-grandparents; Ray Kloewer, David Pibal, Alfred Royal, Ken Crees, and Don Lauritsen.
She is survived by her parents, Travis and Elle Crees of Harlan, IA; maternal grandparents, Rob and Tami Kloewer of Harlan, IA; paternal grandparents, Dan and Natalie Crees of Harlan, IA; maternal great-grandmothers, Jan Kloewer of Harlan, IA, Marie Pibal of Ankeny,IA, Betty Jo Royal of Harlan, IA; paternal great-grandparents, Dan and Jean Bieker of Harlan, IA, Joan Crees-Lauritsen of Harlan, IA, aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and many special friends.
A 10:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial was officiated by Rev. Clement Owusu on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Harlan, Iowa. Hunter Kloewer and Jason Crees served as pallbearers. A burial was held at Harlan Cemetery in Harlan, Iowa following the service.
Pauley Jones Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
