Max Bornholdt, 80

    AVOCA -- Max E. Bornholdt, 90, Avoca, died February 21 at his home.
    Graveside services were held Monday, Feb. 24 at 3 p.m. at the Monroe Township Cemetery in Walnut.  Public visitation was Monday from 4-7 p.m. at Monroe Chapel United Methodist Church.
    Bornholdt is survived by his wife, Joan (Armstrong) Bornholdt of Avoca; sons Jeff Bornholdt of Avoca; daughter Julie (Bornholdt) Gross of Walnut; grandchildren Tom Gross and Britney (Dave) Archibald, all of Walnut; great-grandchildren Reese Archibald and Easton Archibald; brother Robert (Judy) Bornholdt of Kimballton; sister Darlene (Dewey) Hess of Harlan; and sisters-in-law Mickie Bornholdt of Atlantic, Jean Bornholdt of Walnut and Janet Bornholdt of Atlantic.
    Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca was in charge of arrangements.
