Mary Slaven, 99

    PAPILLION, NE -- Mary A. (Reinig) Slaven, 88, Papillion, NE, formerly of Portsmouth, died Saturday, Nov. 12 at her home.
    Services will be held Saturday, Nov. 19 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Portsmouth with burial in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 18 from 5-8 p.m. at the church.
    Slaven is survived by sons Stan (Dian) Slaven, Kenny (Fran) Slaven and Bill (Dara) Slaven; daughters Ann Waller, Barb Slaven, Carol Slaven, Cathy (Mark) Assman and Mary (Stu) De La Castro; 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; sister Cecilia Tunnell; brothers Tony (Mildred) Reinig, Joe Reinig, and Al (Millie) Reinig; sisters-in-law Virginia Reinig, Betty Reinig and Joyce Reinig; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
    Cutler-O’Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home in Council Bluffs is in charge of arrangements.
