Linus Koch, 88

    EARLING -- Linus Peter Koch, 88, Earling, formerly of Panama, died November 20 at Myrtue Medical Center in Harlan.
    Services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church in Panama with burial in the St. Mary’s Cemetery at Panama.  A rosary will be held Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. at St. Mary’s Parish Center.  Visitation is Tuesday from 5-9 p.m. with family greeting friends from 6-8 p.m. at the parish center.
    Koch is survived by sons Roger (Marion) Koch of St. Louis, MO, Glen (Elaine) Koch of Sioux Falls, SD, and Timothy (Barbara) Koch of Albert City; daughters Mary Ann (John Jr.) Wendt of Panama and Margaret (Gary) Schroeder of Essex; brothers Charles (Geraldine) Koch of Des Moines, the Rev. Eugene Koch of Des Moines, the Rev. Paul Koch of Council Bluffs, and Walter (Elaine) Koch of Benton; sister Mary Agnes (Leroy) Lampe of Omaha, NE; sisters-in-law Ruth Koch of Earling and Mary Ann Koch of Clark, SD; special friends Judy and Erb Poore and family of Woodbine; 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren.
    Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan is in charge of arrangements.
