Larry Flanagan, 81

    CLIVE - Former Harlanite, Larry Flanagan, 81, died April 15 in Clive. A visitation and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Belmond. Flanagan was the Harlan Chamber economic development director in 1997 and he later formed Shelby County DevelopSource, serving as its executive director until 2005.
     He is survived by his wife, Nancy; children Dawn (Al) Pieper, Ankeny; Mike (Marci) Flanagan, Marion; Susie Flanagan Houser, West Des Moines; Lisa (Mike) Dammen, West Des Moines;  Linda (Pat) Boivin, Geneva, IL; brothers Alan (Colleen), Cedar Rapids; Robert (Janis), Waterloo; aunt Lina Buterbaugh,  11 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
    Ewing Funeral Home, Belmond, is in charge of the arrangements.
