Kenneth Kenkel, 57

    EARLING -- Kenneth John Kenkel, 57, Earling, formerly of Harlan, died January 22 at the Little Flower Haven Nursing Home in Earling.
    Services were held Thursday, Jan. 26 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Earling with burial in the St. Joseph’s Cemetery at Earling.
    Kenkel is survived by his mother, Dorothy (Henkelman) Kenkel of Earling and father Max Kenkel of Earling; his wife, Sandy Kenkel, of Harlan; brother Larry (Julie) Kenkel of Lowell, MI; sisters Nancy (Blue) Beermann of Manilla, Lori (Russ) Miller of Sutton, NE and Janet (Rich) Thomsen of Logan; father-in-law Jerry Schlitz of Harlan; and brother-in-law Roger Schlitz of Council Bluffs.
    Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan was in charge of arrangements.
