    AVOCA -- Kandy Jo (McGurren) Dea, 56, Avoca, died April 29 at her home.
    Services will be held Wednesday, May 4 at 11 a.m. at Walnut High School with burial in the Layton Township Cemetery at Walnut.  Visitation is Tuesday, May 3 from 4-8 p.m. with family greeting friends from 6-8 p.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca.
    Dea is survived by her husband, Dan Dea, of Avoca; daughter Danielle (Sean) Monson, Jackson and Bennett, of Harlan; sons Dalton Dea (Alyssa Stoehr) of Walnut and Dustin Dea (Justine Jones), Kaytlynn and Kayleb of Walnut; mother Billye Ray (Ben) Dollen of Harlan; sisters Kerry (Steve) Nelsen of Kansas City, MO, Kelly (Pat Behrendt) Swisher of Harlan, Kimmy (Kelly) Kobold of Kirkman and Kasey (Mark Leal) McGurren of Avoca; stepsisters Chantelle (Mark) Brandt of Underwood and Heather (Johnnie) Witt of Underwood; and four grandchildren.
