John Zimmerman, 70

    WESTPHALIA -- John Zimmerman, 70, Westphalia, died January 15 at Myrtue Medical Center.
    Services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 21 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Westphalia with burial in the St. Boniface Cemetery in Westphalia.  A Knights of Columbus Rosary will be held Monday, Jan. 20 at 3 p.m. at the St. Boniface Parish Hall.  Visitation is Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the hall.
    Zimmerman is survived by his wife, Bonnie Zimmerman, of Westphalia; sons Brad (Kim) Zimmerman of Smithfield, MO and Danny (Jessica) Zimmerman of Lincoln, NE; daughters Sarah (Dan) Schumacher of Harlan and Julie (Eric) Hartwell of Olathe, KS; sisters Maribeth Zimmerman of Westphalia, Rita Macauley of Omaha, NE and Sr. Jodelle Zimmerman OSB of Rock Valley; brothers Rae Zimmerman of Westphalia, Paul (Arlene) Zimmerman of Westphalia and Phil (Sharyn) Zimmerman of Westphalia; sister-in-law of Unis Hollander of Denison; and six grandchildren.
    Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan is in charge of arrangements.
