Herbert Wood, 69

    WALNUT -- Herbert “Herb” Lee Wood, 69, Walnut, died July 2 at Mercy Hospital.
    Graveside services will be held Friday, July 7 at 11 a.m. at the Otho Cemetery in Webster County.  Visitation was held Thursday, July 6 from 4-8 p.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca.
    Wood is survived by his wife, LaVonne Wood, of Walnut; sons Herbert “Runk” (Jodi) Wood of Avoca and Martin “Jake” (Breanne) Wood of Shelby; daughter Jessica (Wood) Newcomb of Walnut; and sister Wanda Seger of Madison, SD.
