Harold Bintz, 88

    MINDEN -- Harold “Shorty” William Bintz, 88, Minden, died February 9 at the Oakland Manor Nursing Home.
    Services were held Monday, Feb. 13 at 10:30 a.m. at United Church of Christ in Minden with burial in the Minden Cemetery at Minden.
    Bintz is survived by his wife, Sandra Bintz, of Minden; son Steve (Janet) Bintz of Neola; daughters Connie (Rick) Volz of Council Bluffs, Pattie (Steve) Hibbeler of Phoenix, AZ, and Nancy (Tom) Fischer of Overland Park, KS; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
    Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca was in charge of arrangements.
