Garnet Axland, 93

    MANILLA -- Garnet Mae Axland, 93, Manilla, died May 20 at the Manilla Manor.
    Services were held Monday, May 23 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Irwin with burial in the Oak Hill Cemetery at Irwin.
    Axland is survived by daughters Myrna (Lynn) Gaskill of Manilla, Sheryl (Dan) Hollway of Irwin and Joy (Joe) Daeges of Irwin; sister Virginia “Kay” (Richard) Madsen of Lincoln, NE; brother-in-law Ja Vain Mitten of Hamilton, MO; sister-in-law Delores Nordby of Elk Horn; nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
    Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan was in charge of arrangements.
