Eldred Keane, 84

    PANAMA -- Eldred “Mick” Keane, 84, Panama, died January 31.
    Services will be held Friday, Feb. 5 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s of the Assumption Catholic Church in Panama with burial in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.  A rosary was held Thursday, Feb. 4 at 7 p.m. at St. Mary’s Parish Center in Panama.  Visitation was Thursday from 4-9 p.m. at the parish center.
    Keane is survived by his wife, Marilyn (Schwery) Keane of Panama; sons Dick (Kathy) Keane of Panama, Dave (Marcene) Keane of Panama, Jerry Keane of Panama, Jeff (Sheri) Keane of Omaha, NE, Ron Keane of Bloomington, IL, Bob (Kathy) Keane of Marion, and T.J. Keane of Panama; daughters Deb (Paul) Dieter of Carroll, Diane (Tom) Duschanek of Council Bluffs, Kathy (Mike) Joblinske of Waterloo, and Karen (Jeramy) Kuhn of West Des Moines; sister Julie Goetz of Panama; brother Don Keane of Panama; 23 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
    Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan is in charge of arrangements.
