Edward Mathiasen, Jr., 91

    ELK HORN -- Edward “Eddie” Mathiasen, Jr., 91, Elk Horn, died September 2 at the Salem Lutheran Home in Elk Horn.
    Services will be held Friday, Sept. 8 at 11 a.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan with burial in the Jacksonville Cemetery at Jacksonville.  Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 7 from 4-8 p.m. with family greeting friends from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Mathiasen is survived by son Steven Mathiasen of Harlan; grandsons Jerod Mathiasen of Harlan and Ross (Michelle Kompare) Mathiasen of Omaha, NE; brothers Norman (Jo) Mathiasen of Harlan and Ron Mathiasen of Harlan; and sisters Rosemary Petersen of Elk Horn and Ann Wendt of Omaha.
