Earl Eckmann, 87

PERSIA -- Earl Edward Eckmann, 87, Persia, died March 6 at Elm Crest Retirement Community.
    Services will be held Tuesday, March 10 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Persia with burial in the Minden Cemetery in Minden.  Visitation was Monday, March 9 from 3-8 p.m. with family greeting friends from 5-7 p.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan.
    Eckmann is survived by his wife, Marian Eckmann, of Persia; daughter Beverly (Larry) Shriver of Underwood; son Calvin (Karen Siebels) Eckmann of Persia; grandchildren Matthew (Karen) Shriver of Boone, Megan (Drew) Angotti of Des Moines, Cameron (Ashlie) Eckmann of Persia and Cailyn Eckmann of Lawrence, KS; great-granchildren Phinehas Shriver and Gideon Shriver; sisters Dorothy Eckmann of Harlan, Lavina Glotfelty of Davenport and Martha Eckmann of Omaha, NE.
