David Behrens, 66

    HARLAN -- David John Behrens, 66, Harlan, died July 2 at Creighton University Medical Center.
    Services were held Thursday, July 7 at 10:30 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Jacksonville with burial in the Jacksonville Cemetery.
    Behrens is survived by his wife, Hattie Behrens, of Harlan; son Anthony Behrens of Harlan; daughter Julie (Rod) Owens of Harlan; brother Lyle (Connie) Behrens of Harlan; sisters Betty Jacob (Larry Parr) of Plattsmouth, NE, and Peggy Behrens (Bill Fewell) of Lake View; sister-in-law Maudie Behrens of Kingman, AZ; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
    Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan was in charge of arrangements.
