    EARLING -- Daniel Carl Heese, 65, Earling, died January 6 at his home.
    No services are planned at this time.
    Heese is survived by his father, Vince Heese, of Earling; daughters Heather (Matt) Mecone of Scranton, PA, and Megan (Zach) Born of Omaha, NE; son Chris (Maria) Heese of Council Bluffs; brother Russ (Judy) Heese of Earling; sisters Julie (Bruce) Goeser of Harlan, Jane (Ken) Query of Earling, and Carmen Gubbels of Earling; and five grandchildren.
    Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan is in charge of arrangements.
